- 2016년 11월 11일, 하이랑현 지역의 하이쯔엉 보건지소 내에 장애아동 케어센터 신축에 따른 개소식이 열렸습니다.
- 국내 온라인 기부 콘텐츠 및 뜻 있는 시민들이 함께하여 세상에서 가장 소중한 자전거 6대를 장애아동 및 장애아동의 형제, 자매들과 나누었습니다.
하이쯔엉 장애아동 케어센터 개소식
메디피스(Medipeace)는 2106년 상반기부터 현재까지 하이랑현 인민위원회를 중심으로 현 CBR(Community Based Rehabilitation) 조정위원회와의 협력을 통해 장애아동을 위한 지역사회중심재활 프로그램을 진행해 왔습니다. 꽝찌성 하이랑현에서 진행된 CBR 프로그램으로는 장애아동 주거환경 개선, 이동보조기구 지원, 장애아동 부모자조모임지원, 현지 치료사 양성 교육 및 장애아동 케어센터 신축 등이 있습니다.
지난 11월 11일은 하이랑현 지역 관계자 및 주민들의 큰 관심 속에서 하이쯔엉(Hai Truong) 장애아동 케어센터 개소식이 있던 날이었습니다. 이날 장애아동 케어센터 개소식 축하를 위해 하이랑현 인민위원회를 포함하여 지방 정부 관계자들, 장애아동 및 아동 가족들, 지역 주민들이 함께 자리해 주기도 하였습니다.

하이랑 현에 위치한 하이쯔엉 인민위원회 Nguyen Phuong(응우옌 푸옹) 위원장은 이날 축사를 통해 "하이랑 현, 특별히 하이쯔엉 보건지소 내에 장애 아동이 이렇게 낮 시간을 안심하며 보낼 수 있는 케어센터가 개소한 것을 매우 기쁘게 생각한다"며 "앞으로 케어센터 운영에 아낌없는 지원을 하도록 하겠다"고 밝혔습니다. 더불어 "우리 지역에는 아직 외부 활동이 어려운 20여 명의 중증 장애인들이 있다는 것을 기억하며, 이들의 사회활동 참여를 위해서도 함께 노력해주셨으면 좋겠다"는 메시지를 전하며 개소식 참석자들에게 마을과 이웃에 대해 다시 한 번 생각할 기회를 주기도 하였습니다.

하이쯔엉 장애 아동 케어센터는 장애아동들의 부모들에게는 자녀 보호 및 양육의 부담을 줄여주고, 장애 아동들에게는 사회로 통합될 수 있는 첫 발판이 되기도 하는 중요한 의미를 담아내고 있습니다. 케어센터 바로 옆의 학교를 마음 놓고 다닐 수 있는 날을 소망하며, 메디피스(Medipeace)는 앞으로 하이랑 현 CBR 조정위원회, 장애아동 가족들과 함께 지역사회 중심으로 발걸음을 옮기려고 합니다.

Opening Ceremony of Hai Truong Care Center for Children with Disabilities
Medipeace Vietnam has been implementing various activities for the children with
disabilities through close cooperation with Hai Lang District People’s Committee,
especially the CBR management team. The activities include improvement of residential facility, provision of wheelchairs and other mobility aid, self-help group education,
training of local therapists and construction of a new care center.
The opening ceremony of Hai Truong Care Center was held on 11th of November,
2016. Local government officials, including representatives from the Hai Lang District
Committee, children with disabilities and their family were in attendance at the
ceremony.
Nguyen Phuong, chairman of Hai Truong Commune People’s committee, delivered
a congratulatory address at the ceremony.
“I’m very happy that the new Hai Truong Care Center can now provide children with
disabilities a space to spend their day time safely,” he said.
The chairman pledged to extend his support for the care center and the disabled in the district, requesting the ceremony attendees to do the same.
“There are more than 20 of severely disabled person in our district. Please remember
them and support their social activity as well.”
Hai Truong Care Center will be the first step of social integration for the children with
disabilities as well as reduce the parents’ burden of caring for their disabled children.
Medipeace will continue to work with the Hai Lang District to create an environment
for community-based rehabilitation for disabled children and provide their families
lasting support.
